A Killing in November - Simon Mason
I think it would not be a luxury to edit this book again. I realise how hard it is to deliver a book that is 100% without mistakes or typos, but maybe the next print will be better? The main characters of the novel are two detectives that are completely the opposite of eachother. This particular combination is quite original. I also love it that Oxford plays a big role in the story. The telling of the story is quite descriptive, I could imagine scenes easily. That would make it a possibility for television series. There are also some extra characters available in the book to fill the world of the protagonists. There would be some traps filming it: platitudes and a bit too much sentimentality. In my opinion it would be better not to ruin the puzzle of the investigation (readers like to do it along with the sleuth) by having other people than the detectives have their vision and thoughts expressed in their own point of view. Oh well, other readers might disagree with me. All in all this
